I ordered this item from letterbox because, whilst I could locate it for less money elsewhere online, due to no availability on other sites and a need to have the item delivered by the weekend, I decided to pay a little more for both the product and express delivery on top in order to ensure the item arrived in time. However, the product did not arrive by the weekend, despite the fact that the express delivery I had paid for should have allowed plenty of time for this. By this point too the other cheaper websites had re-stocked and so I might as well have ordered it straight from there as either way I would not have had it in time. When I called Letterbox to chase this up I got through to a young lad who was completely disinterested in the situation and who did not even offer an apology or to look into where the order had got to but just told me to send it back should I no longer require it if and when it turned up!! I feel that this is a shame as I really like the unusual things that Letterbox sell but have been completely put off by this customer service and so will not be using them again.

Thank you for your review, I am extremely sorry that you were inconvenienced in anyway. I can see from our records we sent this out on the same day you made the order. Unfortunately our courier then let us down.

I will certainly look at the training of our temporary staff at Christmas and the way they handle issues such as yours.
